Quang Ninh prepares for Halong Carnaval 2024

According to a report of the People's Committee of Halong City, the 2024 Halong Carnaval Program has the theme "Bright with Wonders", officially opening at 8:10 p.m. on April 28, 2024, at Ocean Park Beach, Vo Nguyen Giap street, Bai Chay ward. The program is broadcast live on VTV1, QTV Quang Ninh. It is expected that the grandstand area will have about 6,000 seats.

Carnaval Halong 2024 has different and outstanding highlights compared to previous years. Specifically: There was the first real-life art performance and Carnaval at sea in Vietnam; Gathering a creative team, with the participation of leading artists and artisans in Vietnam and the participation of international art troupes (Hokkaido - Japan; Guangxi - China; Laos; Thailand and a group of European artists...); The performance stage is a harmonious combination between the sandy beach and the sea, with hundreds of ships and boats mobilized to participate in the parade throughout the program. The highlight of this year's Carnaval is the use of modern technology in staging the show, such as: Drone light, fireworks, mapping, LED, sound, and lighting.

Currently, the design of the total stage area and performance area has been completed by the crew. The system of stands, stages, training... has achieved 50-60% of the set progress.

According to the plan, Halong city will organize a preliminary review of the program on the evening of April 25, organize a rehearsal on the evening of April 26 and edit after the rehearsal on April 27.

At the meeting, Halong City leaders and the program director also clarified the progress of developing and implementing the program script, including performancers' practice; construction progress of stands and stages; propaganda work, reception, logistics, security and order, environmental sanitation, electricity assurance...; some difficulties and obstacles in coordination and program implementation.

After listening to the detailed content of the script and progress of program implementation, Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and appreciated Halong City's innovation and breakthrough in implementing the program Carnaval Halong 2024. Because this is a program assigned by the province to Halong City to implement and has a large workload, departments and branches must proactively participate with Halong City to ensure the organization is standard. Regarding the content and structure of the program, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture and Sports to closely follow the script content and carefully evaluate costumes, props, and music. For communication work, the Department of Information and Communications closely coordinates with the Department of Tourism, the Provincial Communications Center, and Halong City to expand forms of promotion and organize introductions on VTV and other television stations. localities, travel agencies, and airlines. In terms of guests, it is also necessary to expand to localities that have tourism cooperation activities with the province, international organizations, tourism agencies, and large domestic travel agencies. Regarding preparations for logistics reception, ceremony decoration, lighting system, security and order... the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to actively coordinate with Halong City so that the program can take place smoothly and create a good impression in the hearts of tourists. Thereby increasingly enhancing and affirming the Carnaval Halong brand, making Carnaval Halong 2024 a unique and special new product combined with digital technology.
