Day 1: HANOI ??? GOT
HARBOUR ??? TRUNG TRANG CAVE ??? TRA BAU - LAN HA BAY (Lunch and dinner included)
09:10 Await in your hotel lobby for the arrival of the
driver; they will transfer you to Got Harbour across the
ancient land of the Red River Delta.
12:15 We board the Peony Cruise and enjoy a welcome
drink as you check out the new surroundings of the
luxury ship.
13:00 Take a seat in the stately dining room for a
delicious lunch, served in international buffet style as
Lan Ha Bay???s limestone maze looms ahead of us.
15:00 We cruise serenely past tree-clad karst rocks amid
a beautifully calm sea, arriving at the island of Cat Ba
to enjoy one of its many delights. A quick and highly
scenic bus transfer will take us from the dock to Trung
Trang Cave, the stairs of which lead to an almighty
theatre of limestone rock formations within.
17:00 After returning to the Peony Cruise, we begin
sailing over to the serene area of Tra Bau, where we can
swim around one of the truly tranquil spots in Lan Ha
Bay.
17:45 Just before sunset, we re-board the Peony Cruise
and take in the natural marvel from the sundeck. During
this time, the chef will put on a cooking demonstration
in order to show us how to create some of the fantastic
dishes of Vietnamese cuisine.
Our spa is open from this point onwards and can be
booked by speaking directly to the cruise manager.
19:30 Once the sun has fully descended, we head to the
dining room to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner below a
blanket of stars.
21:30 Spend the evening however you would like. We have
squid fishing, movies, and an open bar available for
your entertainment before bed.
Day 2: LAN HA BAY ??? DARK & BRIGHT CAVES ??? GOT
HARBOUR ??? HANOI (Breakfast
and lunch
included)
06:15 Rise early to soak up the benefits of the tai chi
session being run on the sundeck. This accompanies a
magnificent sunrise ??? truly one of the most special
times of the day in Lan Ha Bay.
07:00 We enjoy breakfast downstairs in the dining room
before preparing ourselves for our final excursion, a
trip to the Dark and Bright Caves.
07:45 Take a kayak through the magical wet caves of the
Dark and Bright Caves once we arrive. Visitors can skirt
over emerald waters and into an enclosed lake at the
back of the Bright Cave, revealing a hidden world
enclosed on all sides by tree-clad cliffs.
09:30 Return to the Peony Cruise for the final time to
check out.
10:00 A delicious brunch will be a filling end to the
tour, served in the dining room.
10:30 After brunch, there will be a traditional tea
ceremony held in the restaurant, with our guide
explaining the Vietnamese fascination with tea and the
deep-rooted culture that has grown from it.
11:35 Once back at Got Harbour, our passengers can
disembark the Peony Cruise and board the bus to head
back to Hanoi.
14:00 We reach your central hotel in Hanoi and drop you
off. End of the trip.
