Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Lan Ha Bay (Lunch and dinner included)
08:00 ? 08:30 AM: For passengers booking the transfer
service, our driver will collect you from hotels around
Hanoi Old Quarter to depart for Halong Bay.
11:30 ? 12:00 AM: Arrive at the Tuan Chau Harbor in
Halong Bay.
Noon: You will be transferred to the main boat by
tender. Embark on the Velar of The Seas Cruise and enjoy
the warm welcome to the Velar of The Seas Cruise! While
you?re having the welcome drink, our cruise manager will
brief the cruise and safety introduction. Then you can
check in to your cabin.
01:00 PM: Fabulous lunch is served while Velar of The
Sea Cruise Luxury Cruise starts sailing into the
extension of Halong Bay Wonder - much more tranquil and
has less tourist traffic. We will pass the famous Finger
Islet, Candle Islet and thousands of other uniquely
shaped limestone towers and islets.
03:00 ? 04:00 PM: For the first expedition, we will
visit the Dark & Bright Cave ? one of the signature
sites of the pristine natural seascape in Lan Ha Bay.
Take your time to capture some photos while on the
bamboo boat or kayaking ? a must-try activity to enjoy
the close view of turquoise water and the towering
islands. Afterward, you can dive in the emerald green
water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities.
The area is totally safe for swimming.
Note: Please prepare a swimming suit, sun cream, and sun
class beforehand.
04:30 ? 06:00 PM: Back to Velar of The Seas Cruise for
our sunset activities: Tea Ceremony, Happy Hour, and
Cooking Class. Appreciate the best look of Halong Bay
during the day. Join our tea party, have some drinks at
discounts, or learn how to make Vietnamese traditional
food with chefs! No matter which one you are in, the
sunset creates a magical canvas to enhance the
experience.
Before dinner, our captain will anchor at the most
tranquil area in Lan Ha Bay for the night.
07:00 PM: Savor deluxe dinner with local food prepared
and served for you by our onboard catering staff. Enjoy
the meal in front of the incredible night view of Lan Ha
Bay.
09:00 ? 11:00 PM: Time for special activities. Immerse
yourself in fun activities on board such as squid
fishing, trying fabulous drinks on bars, watching
movies, spa therapy, or just relaxing in your room.
Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Visit to Viet Hai Village -
Cat Ba Island (Breakfast,
lunch and dinner
included)
06:00 AM: Start your day with a Sunrise Tai-chi section
on the sundeck to refresh body and mind. And don?t
forget to hunt for photos of the astonishing view of Lan
Ha Bay at sunrise.
06:45 AM: Enjoy a light breakfast to recharge energy for
an exciting day.
08:00 - 08:30 AM: Discover Cat Ba Island- Lan Ha Bay on
the hidden route that fewer cruises visit.
Firstly, you will be transferred to the day boat to go
further into Lan Ha Bay. You then start the journey to
explore Viet Hai village - a peaceful local village that
is barely exploited. Choose between a bike and an
electric car to have a look around the village. Take a
stop to rest and visit the old houses made from straw,
mud, bamboo...
Noon: We return to the day tour cruise for a trip back
to Velar of The Seas Cruise. You will be served lunch
with a variety of dishes from Vietnam and Western
cuisine at the restaurant.
02:00 PM: For our next destination, we will take you to
the pristine beach area - Ba Trai Dao Beach. This is
arguably the most beautiful lagoon in Lan Ha Bay with
natural white sand, very quiet and less crowded. Free to
swim or kayaking.
03:30 PM: Return to Velar of The Seas Cruise. You will be
watching the beautiful sunset fall on Lan Ha Bay - even
more stunning in the vibrant music, and cocktail delight
on our sundeck.
07:15 PM: Time for another 5-star dinner at the
restaurant on Velar of The Seas Cruise.
08:45 PM ? 00:00 AM: Enjoy the nightlife of Halong Bay
right on board. Let yourself blend into music, sip a
glass of cocktail from the bar, sing karaoke and dip in
the outdoor pool. You can also fish squid with other
guests and sailors, or simply relax in the cozy cabin
and watch Halong Bay from the balcony.
Day 3: Lan Ha cruise - Halong - Back to Hanoi (Breakfast and lunch
included)
06:00 AM: Start your day with a Sunrise Tai-chi section
on the sundeck to refresh body and mind. And don?t
forget to hunt for photos of the astonishing view of Lan
Ha Bay at sunrise.
06:45 AM: Have a light breakfast. Tea, coffee and a
nutritious menu is served in fresh air and peaceful
surroundings. Meanwhile, the Velar of The Seas Cruise
continues to pass marvelous karst towers.
07:30 AM: Our tender brings you to the Tra Bau fishing
village, or you can partake in the kayaking experience
to explore the Tra Bau area ? the filming location for
the Kong Skull Island movie (King Kong) in 2018. For a
deeper cultural immersion, visit the fish raft and
interact with local fishermen to explore their daily
lives and traditional fishing methods.
On the way back, our boat will pass slowly through a
pearl-farming village so you can see how the locals
cultivate pearls.
08:30 AM: Back to the Velar of The Seas Cruise.
09:30 AM: Check out of the cabin.
10:00 AM: Brunch time at the restaurant as our cruise
slowly navigates emerald water towards the harbor.
11:00 AM: Transfer to tender.
11:30 AM ? 12:00 PM: Back to Tuan Chau Harbor.
Bus transfer service will arrive at your hotel in Hanoi
Old Quarter at around 15:00 ? 15:30.
