We have some amazing activities available including
high speed tubing and wakeboarding behind our island
speed boat (lessons and tips included!). As well as the
chance to take in the amazing scenery from up high rock
climbing. Ha Long Bay is listed as one of the natural
wonders of the world, if you go to Vietnam, you gotta go
to Ha Long Bay. If you wanna make your trip to Ha Long
Bay epic. When your feet sink into that sand and you
realise you�re surrounded by nothing but limestone karst
cliffs and water, you�ll immediately feel at home in
paradise and ready for a refreshing drink on the beach
with your new Castaways friends.
When you're not in action, take a relaxing swim or grab
one of the island kayaks to explore with new friends or
on your own.
Our famous all-day cruise is the perfect way to
understand the sheer immensity of the karst peaks of the
bay and the local legends and myths. From the boat you
will be taken on a kayak tour through caves towards a
sheltered lagoon, where the shouts of your friends echo
off the cliff walls.
Everyday is a day worth celebrating. So celebrate we do.
After your evening feast, you�ll be fuelled to party
with a level of abandonment that can only be reached
while on an island paradise in the middle of a stunning
nowhere.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Hanoi - Halong bay
Meet the rest of your group in Hanoi at 7.00am.
Travel by bus and boat to Castaways island taking in
some sights of Cat Ba National Park along the way.
Arrive in time for lunch on the beach and fuel up for
some activities.
Get into the watersports! Not only are they a bucket
load of fun, but they�re great exercise. Go tubing! (our
most popular) we take out up to four people on the tube
at a time. You and 3 friends will get real close while
you bounce around Ha Long Bay at speed while all trying
to be the last one left on. If you�re a wakeboarder, or
you want to learn, what a place to do it! Our
watersports crew will get you up and going for the most
memorable wakeboard of your life.
Go rock climbing! If you�ve already got a head for
heights or if you want to learn, our professional rock
climbing team will provide you with the highest standard
of equipment and instruction you need to climb a cliff
face and checkout Ha Long Bay from up high.
As the sun sets enjoy cocktails on the beach, indulge in
our Castaways happy hour or simply take a well deserved
nap in a hammock in preparation for a big night of
partying!
Day 2 Halong - Lan Ha bay kayaking
Breakfast is served from 7am so you have plenty of time
to get yourself ready for a day on a junk boat cruising
through the Karst and diving into Ha Long Bay.
You will depart at 10am for a cruise through the
magnificent un-touristic mountain range of Lan Ha Bay,
taking in the local fishermen & woman and their floating
villages. This is followed by an hour kayaking tour
through ancient caves and a network of lagoons, getting
the opportunity to possibly see the endangered Lange
monkey, native to Ha Long Bay.
After your kayaking you will be treated to a traditional
Vietnamese lunch offering fresh seafood, meat,
vegetables, rice, noodles and fresh fruit (Vegetarian
options are available and please let us know of any
allergies at the time of booking).
After lunch you can kick back and relax on the boat,
taking in the amazing views, or go for a leisurely
friend with your Castaways buddies. Before heading back
in time to freshen up and be ready for dinner and a
night of fun ahead.
Day 3 Halong relaxation
Enjoy breakfast again and plan your day around the
activities you have not yet tried! Will it be high speed
tubing, wakeboarding or rock climbing today? Or would
you prefer to have a relaxing morning on your own
private island beach and wait until after lunch for
playtime?
The party continues after dinner, where you will make
the most of your last night on Castaways Island with our
amazing crew and your new beach island friends.
Day 4 Halong - Hanoi
You do not depart the island until after lunch so lots
of time to enjoy a slow morning kayaking, a morning swim
or maybe a well deserved lie in.
Not all good things have to come to an end. If you like
where you are, stay. You�re welcome to continue your
stay on the island and share your experiences with the
daily new arrivals. Book extra nights now, or extend
while on the island.
If you really have to leave, after lunch we commence the
journey back to civilisation via boat and bus, you will
arrive back at VBH - Hanoi Downtown Hostel at
approximately 6pm.
